久未会面的家人各怀心事参加葬礼。物理治疗师甜心父亲是个未出柜的同志，撰写犯罪小说的中学教师母亲虽有双亲被朝鲜炸死，心底却对死亡全无哀念。女儿生性好搜集动物尸体照片，课余兼职殡仪业，和逝去的少年有着某种神秘联系。当大家发现自己原来已成为死者遗作《葬礼成员》中的角色时，观众也从连串黑色幽默体会“家族”的真义。
