　　本·维特利(《摩天大楼》《走火交易》)有望执导新版《蝴蝶梦》(Rebecca)，他正和梦工厂和Working Title商谈中。原版由阿尔弗雷德·希区柯克执导，劳伦斯·奥利弗、琼·芳登主演，基于达夫妮·杜穆里埃所著同名小说，讲述一名年轻女子嫁给了一位贵族富豪，富豪庄园的管家却态度厌恶，她感到富豪前妻丽贝卡的影子无处不在，丽贝卡死亡的真相逐渐浮出水面。该片获1941年奥斯卡最佳影片和最佳摄影。
　　
　　斯蒂文·奈特(《浴血黑帮》《禁忌》)和简·古德曼(《王牌特工》《海扁王》)此前分别编写了新版剧本，维特利也可能自己进行润色，不过他手上也有不少项目，这片能否成型还是未知数。
